Forest 1 is a research-grade ultrasound scanner, smaller than a standard key fob. Powered by Butterfly™ technology, it enables functional brain imaging and neuromodulation from surface to deep brain structures in humans. Combined with a flexible software interface, Forest 1 represents a step change in research capability.

Forest Neurotech harnesses the power of ultrasound imaging and stimulation. Ultrasound waves are non-ionizing, and travel safely throughout the brain. Over the past decade, researchers demonstrated ultrasound’s ability to measure brain function with unprecedented detail and precisely modulate neural activity. Forest is expanding access to ultrasonic neural interfaces, creating new possibilities in neuroscience.
